The house beer. We’re attempting to reproduce a traditional beer. Darkish in colour with strong malt flavours with some bittering using traditional hops

Gravicask at the Bricklayers Arms Derby Beer Fest. It pours amber, with a thin off-white film. The nose is warming spice and big citrus tang. The taste is sour tang, sweet orange, tangerine, spice, wood, raisin and fig, with some sweetness in finish. Thin-medium body and soft carbonation. So-so.

Gravity cask at the Bricklayers Arms Derby BF. Pours clear amber with a light head. Tangy fruit nose. Very tangy malt flavor, lightly sweet. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faint sweet finish with very little bitterness and yet more tangy fruit. A little awkward.
