Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours cloudy brown with a filmy head. Sugary aroma with chestnut, brown sugar, toffee, toasty malts. Sweet and kind of sour flavor - I’m guessing this is either old or infected. I can make out some light roastiness. Medium bodied with tingly carbonation. Finish ain’t all it probably should be, with a bit more sour malts and faded dark malts. Too bad, this started out alright.

Keg at the Euston Tap. It pours dark brown, with a thin beige head and low to moderate carbonation. The nose is sour, tangy, sweet caramel and cardboard. The taste is sweet caramel, hazelnut syrup, sourness, cardboard, roasted malt, toffee and light spice, with a bitter-sweet finish. Overall it is quite sweet and the weird sour tang is quite off-putting. Balance is also not a strong point.
