Twyford Tipple is an easy drinking 3.7% ABV tawny coloured bitter which has a satisfying malty flavour with a citrus hop finish. Named after the adjacent parish of Twyford, we think that this tipple is deliciously satisfying despite its lower alcoholic strength. The citrus hops give a refreshing, thirst quenching finish.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Clear tawny brown with a thick beige head. Spruce, disinfectant, grassy and floral notes in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with grassy hop giving way to a toffee flavour toward the finish. More medicinal bitterness in the finish. Decent but not particularly exciting.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Floral and caramel aroma. Dark amber. Frothy white head. Sweet caramel with a light bitter edge. Tgin-medium bodied. Slick. Flat. Low key finish. Decent enough bitter. Nice sweetness to it.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, residual pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest carbonation. Tangy malts. Tangy dried fruits. Some bitterness on the light dry finish. Pretty dull.

Cask gravity at SIBA South East Tonbridge 2017. Clear mid brown colour no real head. Peppery hop and malty aroma Good Standard bitter aroma and flavour. So nice to have a proper brown bitter these days. Loved it. Love the sweet malt and white pepper hop finish. Bitter that is properly bitter. Loved it.
