Keg at indy man beer con. Session 2. A jet black coloured pour with a a tidy mid tan head. Aroma is subdued, light spicy, pepper, mellow brown malts, nutty malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown malts, mellow spicy, cinnamon, liquorice,. Palate is semi sweet, woody, airy frothy carbonation.. Not much to it.

Keg at IMBC. It pours opauq jet black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred wood, burnt toast, vanilla, peppery spice, cocoa, tobacco and chocolate. The taste is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, chewy, tooth, dark chocolate, smoked, chilli spice, peppery, warming booze, chocolate sponge cake with a warming, spicy finish. Medium to full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Well judged chilli i.e not too much. Not bad.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 3. Pours black-brown with a creamybtan head. Minty, lots of chocolate, minimal chili pepper character, some burnt graham crackers, toast, menthol. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more cool mint, rounded chocolate character. Drinks well for the ABV. Enjoyable.
