Keg at indy man beer con. Session 2. A opaque jet black coloured pour with a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is musty oak, red currant, mellow black malts, smoke. Little phenolic. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, meloow roast, oak, musty red wine. Palate is semi sweet, moderate, medium full bodied.. Nice.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 2. Pours motor oil black with a slight, creamy beige head. Good stuff, some burnt toast, chocolate, dark fruits, coffee, mellow marshmallows. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, a little sticky, mild toasty bitterness. Good fun.

Keg at IMBC. It pours opaque jet black with a tiny tan head. The aroma is sweet, intense, oily, dark fruits, vanilla, oak, rocky road, chocolate cake, jammy dark fruits and berry. The taste is slick, rich roasted malt, dark fruits, jammy, tangy, milk chocolate sponge cake, warming alcohol, vinous, oak, leather, spice, mint choc chip ice cream and vanilla. Well rounded sweet ale.
