Bottle from Bottle Stop, Bramhall. Black with an extremely thin head. Very strong tasting, so much so not really finding the chocolate orange. It is mildly spiced though so some of the advertised taste is there.

Keg at IMBC. It pours opauqe jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, heavy sweet, oily, orange, Terry's chocolate orange, chocolate cake and cocoa. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, harsh, charred wood, dark chocolate, tobacco, light smoke, boozy heat, sticky, treacle and some spice with a drying finish. Full body and fine, foamy carbonation. A bit harsh and charred.

Keg at IMBC 2018, session 1. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy tan head. Not bad overall, some burnt wood, minimal chili, bitter baking cocoa, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, nice ashy bitterness, baking cocoa, dried berries. Not bad.
