Cask. Pours very very dark brown, with a small frothy beige head. Nutty aromas, with some hops and dark fruit hints. Very bitter in the mouth, hoppy, more nuts, raisin, hop resins, a long bitter finish. Quite good.

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Courtesy of Harrisoni - Cheers Ian! Clear amber beer, little bubbly head. Semi dry palate. Bitter tangy dried fruits, orange - marmalade. Semi dry finish. Pretty bitter!

Handbottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, nuts, some mild maltyness as well. Flavour is caramel and crystal malts along with nuts and some resiny and floral notes as well. Pleasantly balanced.

Handbottle. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee, light roasted, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Hand bottled from cask at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Hazy nut brown. Dry and roasty with light-medium body. Crisp and grainy with coffee-like roastiness and long resiny bitterness.

Milk jug at Pat’s birthday chriso tasting, London. Pours clear, gold-red-brown with a bubbly head. Toasted grain nose. Faintly roasty and lightly sweet flavor with dry dirt and toast. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Very dry to finish with lingering, mild earth bitterness, some grass, light plastic, roast/toast, dirt. Alright beer.

Cask conditioned handpull at The Foundry brewpub, Canterbury. Brown orange colour slight haze lasting beige head. Good brown Malts with a touch of aggressive bitter hops too. Tasty half mild half brown ale with this brewery’s distinctive bitterness on the finish. Good full tasty malty brown ale.
