Cask. Pours very very dark brown, with a small frothy beige head. Nutty aromas, with some hops and dark fruit hints. Very bitter in the mouth, hoppy, more nuts, raisin, hop resins, a long bitter finish. Quite good.

Hand bottled from cask at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Hazy nut brown. Dry and roasty with light-medium body. Crisp and grainy with coffee-like roastiness and long resiny bitterness.

Cask conditioned handpull at The Foundry brewpub, Canterbury. Brown orange colour slight haze lasting beige head. Good brown Malts with a touch of aggressive bitter hops too. Tasty half mild half brown ale with this brewery’s distinctive bitterness on the finish. Good full tasty malty brown ale.
