A lager that pours smoothly without an over-inflated head, Pistonhead Flat Tire has a balanced and rich malt body and balanced, slightly marked bitterness. Centennial and Mosaic varieties of American hops give the brew a fresh floral aroma with hints of tropical fruit and citrus.

Can, 4.5%. Mild, but good American hop aroma, floral and caramelly. Clear dark golden colour. Small tight white head. The flavour is lagery at first, but then comes a nice enough hop note, like the aroma, mild, but good. Watery finish.

Can. Pours clear pale golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of Centennial hops and yeast, with some subtle malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with citric notes and estery overtones. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish with some estery touches. Not bad.

Burk från SB. Gyllengul vätska med vitt skum. Markerad humlearom med drag åt gröna grönsaker. Smaken lite av en besvikelse. Tunn munkänsla.

330 ml can. Clear golden body with a small but dense off-white head. Aroma is refreshing and fruity with hint of grapefruit and malt. Light and refreshing flavor as well, medium sweet, soft malt, pleasant bitterness and some citric fruit. Medium body and decent aftertaste. No big thing, but plain, easy drinkable and quite refreshing. Quite nice for a lager actually.

Can. A clear, golden beer with a white head. The aroma has a piney, peachy fruityness and some pine cones. Not much malts. The flavor has a fine bitterness, not overly much, but dealing with the maltyness there is. Peaches, pine cones, pineapple and grapefruit. Full to medium body and a tad too much carbonation. Lasting fruity finish with a nice drying hoppyness. A pretty decent one, tasteful and quenching. 140418

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2013) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, citrus and grassy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, citrus, tropical fruit and and a fresh, but fairly gentle, bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Nothing special, but quite enjoyable. (I do believe the name was Flat Tire and it was a new Pistonhead beer, so it should probably be entered as "Spendrups Pistonhead Flat Tire")
