Bottle, 5.1%. Banana aroma, a little plastic. Sparkling, cloudy orange colour. Nice and big, stable, rocky white head. The flavour is nicely and distinctly wheaty with a little banana. Finishes citric. Good wheat mouthfeel. Classic example of a German Hefeweizen, and a well-made one.

(Bottle 50 cl) Classical deep orangey golden beer - like fluid gold... The huge head collapses rather fast but leaves a small, creamy layer. Nice fruity esters, huge softness and almost no bitterness. Bit low in carbonation. Well crafted. 071202

Re-Rate: Chalk, haylike malt and a bit stringent estery vanilla aroma. Cloudy, dark yellow, head looks nice (big and creamy) but dissipates a bit too fast. Nice broad taste; all the usuall Weizen flavors are present and are nicely balanced towards each other. Rich texture, yet refreshing. Aftertaste a bit yeasty/estery. Good representative of its style though.
