Bottled 500ml. -at Kolbászda Bajor Étterem, Budapest. Also served with slice of lemon in the glass but we threw it away before pouring. Muddy dark amber/pale brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, slight acidic caramel/chocolate nose. Moderate malty, yeasty and mild wheaty with notes of caramel and fruits. Pleasant but pretty average weizen.

Bottle at Kolbászda Bajor Étterem. Poured a misty amber-brown body with a medium sized white head that went away slowly. Tangy yeasty, malty nose with vague notes of chocolate. Empty sweetish taste, without any really distinct flavours apart from the maltiness, pleasant but empty.

Bottle. More or less clear, which surprises considering the style. Dark amber to copper colored and with a finger-thick dense, off-white head. Some caramel blends with banana and bubble gum, and a touch of cloves drops by. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side maybe. Caramel, bubble gum and banana, some bitterness towards the end. Medium bodied and soft. Well, far from bad, but not my favorite dunkelweizen, it’s too boring for that, although the flavor isn’t bad in any way. 111126

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a dark amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. Thick sweet banana in the nose with some yeast. Medium body, sweet overripe dark fruits and yeast. Hardly any hops whatsoever. But nice alright. 261111
