Clear golden colour, no head. Aroma of apple, apple skins, spices and funk. Funky flavour, light brett, apple, rum. Decent English cider.

Bottle - Nice apple, sweet with some umame. Cloudy gold with no head. Light sweet apples, light tannins and a dry finish. Not bad, but rum doesn’t seem to add much.

750ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. The aroma of cider barrels wafts out from the off. Has a great fruitiness with a delicious sweetness and soft tannins that captures this apple very well. Another great cider from Oliver’s.

Bottle 750ml. clear glass @ [ Tasting by Fin & Loz ].Clear medium orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, vanilla - sweet rum, ripped apple notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, apples, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20111021]

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 I picked this up from Olivers, Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire summer 2011 This seems to have softened just a little too much by the rum cask ageing. Its almost copper in colour with a gentle carbonation and good clarity. The apples are juicy and it is fruity with a nice gentle tang but its lost some of its edge by being aged this way in my opinion. Another decent cider from Tom Oliver but not one of his best this time. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

750ml bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. Deep gold in colour with a slight haze and a few bubbles. Rich aroma of dryish apple fruit with some slightly honeyed sweetness. Very easy drinking, with plenty of juice, and a touch more sweetness before a more tart finish. A good medium dry cider.
