Brewed to honor the brave souls who kept our brewpub open in the early 90’s while wrecking balls tore down the mall around us. Dry and smooth, with a grassy, citrus aroma and honey malt middle.

Pours an off yellow. Some spice/hops notes, kind of sweet, but at the end of the day I just wasn’t sure if it worked.

65cl bottle. Hazy golden, thick white head. Orange marmelade, zesty aroma. Covers pretty much everything else. Flavor has oranges juice, marmalade, malt and spicy notes. Don’t think I have had such a juicy beer before. One dimensional.

22oz bomber poured into my Chimay Trappist glass. Bottled on 5/7/2010. Pours a dark gold with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of fruity yeast. Citrus and tropical fruits with a good bit of baking spices. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Tropical and citrus fruits with a decent dose of hop bitterness along with the doughy yeast. Great combination. Medium bodied with a thin yet slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, very good. I would gladly drink it again.
