Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 1. Black syrup. Nose is bit too alcoholic, touch harsh, chocolate, mocha. Boozy plastic, basic chocolate, mocha, caramel, sugar. Body is chocolate syrup. Bit too harsh but good stuff.

Clear dark purple brown beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, chocolate, nice roast, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit watery, lots of coffee, bitter, very roasted, bitter, charcoal. Aftertaste: more coffee, very roasted, bit watery though.

Tap at Rootz Spring festival. Black with tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, roasted grain. Quite sweet and moderate roasted bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz Festival. Black with dark beige head. Strong licorice, roasted notes, tar, lots of rye, syrupy malts, laurel, soft herbs. Medium sweet and over medium bodied. Over medium bodied with syrupy feel.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma is quite sweet with malt and brown sugar. Flavour is similarly sweet. Really creamy. Good body. Noce balance of bitter and sweet.
