Draught. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, some spicy and alcoholic tones along with some floral and honeyish tones. Flavour is quite complex spices, alcohol, some fruity, floral and honey tones along with mild biscuity takes to it as well.

Draught at Deep Ellum, 2010 and onwards.
Mostly clear, bright brassy-maize-golden with strong carbonation and a frothy, white head showing modest retention.
Smells malty with plentiful biscuit, honey, a touch of sourdough and various other bready notes lingering. Spicy phenols with peach-nectarine esters are all augmented by herbal, peppery hops. A hint of citrus (light lemon) on the end, as well. There's definitely some alcohol here, probably coaxed out by the esters, and it comes off pretty rich and strong, though dry.
In the mouth it's soft and malty with plentiful grain/bread notes, as Pretty Things seems often to have. Light honey and white bread-like base malt notes soak up some strong phenol and ester while alcohol dries the finish alongside herbal/grassy/peppery hops that linger on, yet don't add much bitterness themselves. Very well-carbonated and well-attenuated but just strong, stiff stuff at times. Aged bottles were probably much, much better, but I never tried one.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is yeasty banana esters with some pale malt and sugar. Flavor is some grass, dry bready malt with some yeasty spice. Finish is some pepper and but also a bit sweet and acidic. Not any more hoppy then a normal triple but it’s a well made beer and the alcohol is hidden well.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a straw glow and a nice and relatively dense one centimetre tall just tan colour. Aroma of grass, coriander seed, lemons, straw, hay and a ton of yeast - very strong in that department, but nice. Full-bodied; Very rich flavour of coriander seed, yeast, wheat, grass, hay and a lot of honey sweetness tucked in with even more curacao. Aftertaste shows a very pleasant blend of honey, grass, yeast and oranges with a light grain and corn finish. Overall, a very nice tripel with not so much hops noticed, but more of the tripel stylings, all with a very rich mouthful and a sweet finish - nice, but pretty much just a standard tripel - don’t pay attention to ’hoppy’ on the name. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$8,00 sampled at home in Washington on 14-September-2014.

This beer is a pale yellow-gold color with a medium fluffy (ha!) white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and mild citrus. Medium-bodied with flavors of grapefruit, earthy yeast and grassy hops. The finish is fruity up front with a peppery yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
