Tap at Pony Bar. Pours a cloudy gold with a medium, white head. Aroma holds citru and earth hops, along with some light spices and bready malts. Sweet flavor with orange and lemon, plus some nice, floral bitterness. Medium in body with lively carbonation. Finishes sweet and fairly crisp and clean. Very nice.

bottle pours deep gold with a medium white head. Aroma is candied sugar, pale malts and light alcohol. Flavor is sweet karo syrup, grassy malts, and a peppery hop finish that is super dry with only a hint of alcohol. The balance in this beer is great, one of the best triples I have had to date.

22oz. bottle, pours hazy light golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, sugar and hops. Flavour is a nice balance between an IPA and tripel - starts off with sweet citrus and finishes with bitter hops and spices. Excellent hybrid.

Sampled on tap at Sunset Grill Allston. Pours a translucent, hazy blonde with a frothy white head. Nose is perfume, flowers, Belgian yeast, light spice, some light citrus. Flavor is sweet, a little peppery, flower petals, light herbs. Medium bodied, lightly chalky. Don’t know if I liked this as much because of all the IPAs I had that night, but I thought this was enjoyable.

Location: Cask at Rattle 'N Hum, 4/17/10

Aroma: The aroma has floral hops, some citrus fruits, herbs, and spice
Appearance: It pours an unclear golden-orange color with minimal head from the cask
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, with a nice presence of hops and spice for balance
Palate: Medium body, typically smooth cask beer feel, and a nice finish
Overall Impression: This one is quite solid. It works well on cask, allowing the complex flavors to develop on the tongue. A well-made, complex, not to mention tasty brew from a brewery I tend to really like.

A hazy blonde ale with a thick lacing white head. In aroma, nice perfumey malt with chalky notes, bananas, cloves, very smooth and fluffy. In mouth, a classic saison with light herbal hops, nice and smooth orange peels, medium bodied. Very nice. On tap at Redbones, April 3 2010.

What a great name for a beer! Tap at Deep Ellum, recommendation of Judy - thanks! Clear golden color, thin white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white bread. Taste has citrus, apple, vanilla. Slightly sour, consistent with Brett and/or lacto. Very nice.

Pours a hazy deep gold into a snifter. Bright white micro head pancakes as it recedes leaving scant spiders. Orange, lemon and yeast aromas. Sweet lemon cookie and honey upfront turning pleasantly hoppy in the lasting saaz and alcohol burn. This one’s a winner.
