Cask ½ pint at Crispin, Wokingham, on June 26, 2017.Hoppy, slight citrus, herbal taste. Citrus, slight acidic aftertaste. Medium thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. Clear amber color, white head with lacing. Malty, red berries scent.6/4/6/2/12=3.0

Oldham Beer Festival 2016. Amber in colour. Session bitter with an easy-drinking fruity character. Has a bitterness, albeit a low one.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 28 Nov 2015) Pale amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, citrus and biscuity malt. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, biscuits, toast, leafy hops and a fairly dry finish with a balanced floral bitterness. Light body, quite dry. Fresh and quite tasty, highly drinkable. Quite nice.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Magna Carta Real Ale Festival 2015) The beer poured deep golden and almost clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and earth. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A good clean bitter.

Cask handpull at The Speaker London. clear light brown colour with lasting thin white head. Decent standard bitter. Some hop on finish. Good condition. Tasty standard bitter.

Cask at CASK with Sarah. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has nice light citrus with a hint of light fruit and a grain backbone. Flavor has much more earthy grain with a hint of grass and citrus underlying.

Gravity dispense at the 1st Runnymede Beer Festival - 08/09/12. Light golden with a thin off-white head. Floral hops on the nose and a smearing of orange marmalade allied to some sour tones, grapefruit and a little caramel. Bitter orange taste, toffee, more of that orange marmaladeness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and a dry finish.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sharp nutty, toffee, butter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110803]

Cask at GBBF 2011. Golden with a small white head. The aroma has nice bready malt, with hay and grassy hops. Clean malty flavour with grassy and herbal hops and a nice bitter finish

Cask at the Wallington 2011 Beer Festival. It pours amber, with a thin white head. The nose is sweet golden syrup, honey, wood, brown sugar and bread. The taste is citrus, biscuit, wood, hay, straw, pine and some underlying sweetness, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Forgettable.
