Nose is hoppy with floral and citrus notes; hazy, bubbly gold with a small white head; Flavor is flowery hops with a little bitterness in the finish.

Pour is a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is quite hoppy especially when i was expecting something more Scottish. Flavor is sweet. With notes of hops and green apples. Quite tasty especialy since i was not expecting much.

By the name I really expected something Scottish influenced, despite the "pale ale" moniker, but nope, its an APA. Boring looking, too, dull gold color, no head. Pleasantly fresh hop aroma, like homebrew! Cascades? Flavor is more balanced, although a bit harsh. Malts pretty underwhelming, very clean.

Relatively clear straw-colored body with fine suspended sediment, thin off-white head. Light floral aroma with cereals and slight bitterness. Body is watered-down and pretty pathetic, with tiny piney hops and light cereals. It’s as if the brewers added a few drops of flavor to a glass of water. A weak APA if I may say.

Most likely the clearest 'micro' brew i've ever seen. Unusually light for an APA. After I saw the pour and took a small whiff, I figured this beer would be horrible. I log onto the site and find out that the average rating is pretty high. There is absolutely no head on top of the beer. The smell is very faintly hoppy but more fruity and sweet. The first sip reveals some instant flavour, mostly hops and a little crisp citrus taste, but very small. This was more of a pils than anything else, and somewhat reminded me of a bad reproduction of a Hop Pocket Pils or a Prima Pils. I guess my instinct was right about the colour and the aroma. I don't know how this beer got rated so highly. There is almost no aftertaste and the flavour hits instantly and lasts for 2 to 3 seconds. Light in colour and not a great smell. All those factors add up to a sub-standard beer and a poor representation of an APA.
