Cask at The Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours rich gold with a filmy, whitish head. Enticing hop aroma, with a bit of pine, tangerine and dank earth. Has a lightly sweet flavor, some honey and caramel, then plenty of bitterness of citrus, grass, some bubblegum and floral hops. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Fairly dry, sticky finish, more honey, grass and citrus rind. Solid beer.

Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival 05.05.11 I was also directed to this beer by Glen and I have to say it was an excellent suggestion. Pours clear mid brown good clarity. Very rich in the mouth, big sweet malty body, good hoppy profile, don’t get the citrus so much and I am interested in what the hop(s) are. Tasty stuff and tasting stronger than it is, like this a lot. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

On gravity at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 29/04/2011. Slightly hazy brown in colour with a slight, white head. Apricot and peach fruit aroma with a yeasty edge. Grainy malt flavours, with plenty more fruit and yeast leading to a dryish finish. Good.
