Bottled at RBESG 2008. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma has strong notes of spices and lycee fruit. The flavor is acidic and sweet with notes of fruits - especially peaches and oranges, as well as a touch of brettanomyces lending it the acidity. The finish is dry and woody.

Beautiful copper-amber color, medium sized head. The aroma is quite funky, but also sweet, a bit hoppy; light feet. Good body strength; good sweetish malt flavor, with a nice fruitiness, stone fruit jam, followed by some resins, and still a rather strong bitterness; also a pleasant, mild Brett character. Peculiar, still very nice.

2009-04-08, bottle from the brewery, thanks Raphael! 8-5-8-5-16=42
Beautiful color, hazy amber, with a good head, persistent. The aroma has both some citrus fruits and some funkyness, cellar and cobwebs. Medium bodied, with a caramel-toffee flavor, won by the very strong hopping, full of citrus oils, all citrus fruits together; light Bretts sourness, and light astringency; resiny, woody; the final is also very good, balanced, yet powerful, long, with even more bitter oranges. Belgian styled Double IPA, excellent.

2006 vintage Small orange head over hazy orange beer. Fruity, very citrus-aromatic beer, some speciality grain, very fresh-smelling. Bitter, orange/citruspeel, rootspices. Bitterish finish. Bit aggressive MF, and very well-bodied. Not bad, fruity, but a bit crude overall. Merci au Capitaine!

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a creamy, off-white head. Lovely Brettish aroma. Medium-bodied with dry fruit notes, yeast and an astringent woody character. Astringent rather than bitter finish. Quite lovely. 290608

Hazy yellow color, small vanishing white head. Lambic-like fruity sourness in the aroma. Sour, lambic-like flavor. Mango, green tea leaves and other funky stuff. Long sour aftertaste. Some brews from this brewery are really tasty and this is one of them.
