RBESG August 2011, Craft Beer Co. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of grain, toffee and apple peel. Sweetish grainy flavour with hay and a touch of barnyard. Not in the best condition.

On tap at Craft Beer. Very hazy red-brown-amber beer. Residual head. Light semi dry palate. Light toffeeish malt backbone. Well integrated mild orangey hops. Trace of honey. Light dry finish with minerals. Not bad.

Cask at CBC, London. Pours hazy amber with a mild, foamy head. Woody nose, some nuts and must, hints of fruits. Sweet flavor, bit of brown sugar, malts, some yeast and candi, light leaves and ripe fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, nice toast character, subtle leafy bitterness, light brown sugar. Really solid. Like an Imperial ESB or something.
