Bottle. Clear deep golden body with a small, fading white head. Quite light aroma, mostly malty. Taste is sweet malt and hint of caramel. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nice idea, but rather boring beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wijn&Verwonderen, Culemborg. Hazy brown with a minimal white head. Heavy malty bready aroma. Tasty is fairly bitter with a sour touch and somehow reminds me of a good German doppelbock combined with a barley wine. Interesting, complex and very tasty. Well done.

(Draught at Cause Beer Loves Food, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2018) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with caramel, treacle-toffee and black-currant. Malty taste with notes of caramel, treacle-toffee, black-currant, dark bread and a mild spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
