Bottle at home, pours a not particularly inviting brown with a quickly dissipating off-white head. Nose is sweetish apple, light honey maybe, spices, notes of whiskey. Taste is rather interesting and undeniably layered. It’s sweet and sour mainly, showing notes of spices and honey upfront, then some light malts, maybe a touch of whiskey and lots of apples in the finish. As it warms the whiskey notes become more and more apparent both in aroma and taste. The acidity becomes increasingly heavy by the finish, compared to how it was initially. Interesting and fun.

Bottle 0.33l from the brewery, one year aged. Hazy, dark amber colored. AROMA- honey, caramel, whiskey, Worcester sauce, plum, dates, touch of salt, cinnamon. FLAVOR- neutral, quite sour, touch of saltiness, slightly bitter, caramel, honey, Worcester sauce, dates, plums, cherries, baked apple, touch of whiskey. Medium bodied. Wow: really wild mix of flavors. Interesting one.

Kicsi, villámgyorsan elillanó hab, barna szín. Savanykás, enyhén mézes, almás, fűszeres illat, sajnos a hordót nem érzem benne. Savanyú íz, ami szinte minden mást elnyom, csak a háttérbe szorulva érezni némi fűszerességet, leheletnyi almás mézes aromát, a hordós érlelést pedig talán csak oda képzelem. Mindezen az sem segített, hogy bőven hagytam melegedni. Könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, csak jelzés értékűen keserű. Hát ez most nem jött be.
