A bold blend of dark caramel, dried red fruits, molasses, and rye bread. This special Irish-Dutch collaboration draws on De Molen’s expertise in crafting robust Belgian and Dutch styles, resulting in a stronger and more complex take on O'Hara's classic Irish Red.

To celebrate our 20th anniversary, in collaboration with O'Hara's, we’ve infused this brew with unique Irish botanicals—juniper and bog myrtle—drawing inspiration from Irish Poitín and Dutch GIN. This special addition delivers a subtle piney finish with complex herbal notes.

Aus der Dose (bbe 28.06.2026) im 2025-04 getrunken. Diese rotbraune Ale kommt mit einer schönen Malz-Karamell Aroma daher. Sicherlich nicht komplex dieses Red, aber sehr gut balanciert.

0.44 l can from 'Beerdome', best before June 2026. Clear, very dark ruby with a thin, dense, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, red fruits and light nuts. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity and a bit herbal taste of molasses, caramel, toasted nuts, red fruits and some juniper, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, flat. Interesting and pleasant beer, nice to try.

440ml can at home. Nitro pour, deep red to brown, thick off white to tan head. Nose is muted due to the nitro head. Aroma of caramel and bread notes. Flavour is the same. Overall a nice and easy beer that hides the 8% abv.
