330 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a creamy head. Grassy hoppy, zesty, metallic and grainy breadyness. Hoppy bitterness, grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bittersweet finish. Good crisp Pilsner.

Pfaffenberger Pils aus der Privatbrauerei Stöttner, Fläschchen von Rewe, Mainburg. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase mildere doch aromatische zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk weicher und fülliger hellmalzig als beim gleichzeitig verkosteten Herrnbräu Premium Pils, mit natürlicher zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung (mehr Zitronenöl als -schale) aber ohne kräftige Herbe. Feine helle Malzsüße, ein Hauch von Vanillezucker. Milder rezent, nicht ganz schlank. Im Abgang feine Bittere. - Schöner Vertreter des süddeutschen Pilsener-Typs, aromatisch gehopft aber ohne die derbe Bittere des norddeutschen Typus und mit leichtem hellen Malzkörper. Schön. Bottle picked up from REWE, Mainburg and consumed at home Friday 24th December 2021 cooking Celeriac Puree and listening to 93 Million Miles From the Sun - Echo Delay Fuzz Reverb. Pours clear gold with a white head, clean refreshing, dryness at the end. Solid Pils.

Drank from bottle on holiday. Standard pilsener, bit sweetish grainy, lightly bitter in the finish, yellow golden color, white head. No flaws, not very interesting either.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch herb, grasig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack startet bitter hopfig, grasig.

Herb-würziger Antrunk mit aromatischen Getreidenoten. Zunehmend bitterer, aromatischer Hopfen, bei dem die geringe Trockenheit nicht stört. Stimmiges, zum Ende aromatisch werdendes Pils. 7/11/12/11/6/12

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace.Clear medium to light yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy, grass notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110910]

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured golden color with a white head.Aroma was grainy malty and with some bready notes, flavor similar, bit too sweet for me, low bitterness. Drinkable but not very exciting.
