Bottle from Scrattings. Pours a clear pale gold, some brief bubbles. Subtle pear aroma, some skins, juice and light funk. Taste of ripe pear juice, skins, light brown sugar, quite sweet but a subtle bitterness in finish. Medium bodied, slick, moderate carbonation. Decent perry.

May 2013: Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013. Very pale and clear yellowish colour, very moderately sparkling (the bottle may have been open a while). Very pleasant aroma of perry pears and sweeter eating pears. Medium dry pear flavour, does not feel as strong as 6.3%. Decent and easy drinking.

Clear yellow pour, aromas of (sweet) pears with a hint of spice (cinnamon?), taste is similar with some faint oak. Not bad overall, but also not too memorable.

500ml bottle from Rich's Cider Farm. Pours clear pale yellow, light perry pear sweetness on the nose, lightly sparkling. Taste is generally quite clean and light with a distant woodiness from the perry pears, pleasantly sweet but not too characterful.

500ml bottle from Burrow Hill online. Pale yellow colour, short-lived thin white foam head and fruity pear aroma with oak & funk. Flavour is sweetish juicy pear, pear skins, tart fruity, apple, caramel, earthy, some oak, funk and light tannins. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry lightly tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

clear light yellow, no head. nice cider like aroma, some fruit peel bitterness, some notes resembling perhaps rubber. Not so much pear in the aroma. flavor is dry, apple, pear, alc. very light, quite drinkable. i think the alc. is slightly noticeable as a sort of boozy note to the flavor, in fact i think perhaps it would taste better if it did not have this boozy note (like if it was spiced with vodka or something). Quite dry.
