750 c&c from City Beer. Pours hazy golden amber with a creamy/bubbly light beige head. Aromas of light roast malt and mild spice. Arguably some citrus. Full bodied. Strange version of kandi. Fairly sweet. Phenolic. Citrus. There’s a lot of complication here. Going dryish into the finish. Going more phenolic. This is a pretty complex and tasty ale.

Bottle at RBESG grand tasting 2011. courtesy of Haddonsman. thanks Simon. A hoppy tripel. Very hoppy indeed. Some biscuit in the flavour. Not a huge amount of esters or Belgian like qualities. Not hugely fruity either, but there is a little bit of tangerine there. Alcohol isn’t noticeable. Biscuity dry tripel which is pretty drinkable and really quite hoppy, but it is the biscuit that I notice the most. Touch of spicy tangerine on the finish.
