This American-Style Pale Ale is aggressively hopped giving it a citrusy flavor and aroma. No antidote needed. This beer is dark-golden, medium-bodied and very hoppy. It is American-style because American-grown hops are used rather that European.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange-caramel color with a small creamy orange-tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was vegetal, sweetish, sour caramel and faint dark fruits. The flavor was tangy, sweet and vegetal with notes of sour caramel and faint dark fruits. Medium finish. Medium body. Meh.

Clear amber copper with a foamy white head. Fruity, light citrus, a rustic earthy quality. Toasted malt, light fruity citrus flavor. Medium bodied. OK.

Lilly, tea, and malt nose. Clear auburn, thim head, good lacing. Floral tea flavor, perfumey but not intense. Off balance toward the floral hop side, with less malt to back it up. Perhaps too hoppy for a session beer and I definitely prepare a more west coast hop profile.

GBBF. Cask. Served as ’Double Dry Hopped Venom Pale Ale’. Hazy amber beer, respectable tan head. Low carbonation smooth palate. Nice oaky vanilla Sorachi Ace - a little lemon. Mild toffee malt backbone. Light dry finish. Really nice beer - the Sorachi Ace makes it tastes oak aged.

Draft: Poured a light orange with a white head. Aroma is thick of hops and citrus. Taste very gritty with loads of hops, very IPAish.

On sampler try at BWI. Golden color, white head, great lacing. Not much aroma. Taste has slight bitter edge and a bitter finish, but not much else. Medium body. Below average.
