Bottle. Rubyish black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, vanilla, some nutty tones with mild chocolate, liquorice and mild alcohol tones. Flavour is dried fruits, some chocolate, mild nutty tones with some berries, mild toffee and some fudge sweetness. Super sweet, but still a nice sipper.

26th May 2019
Clear deep amber - Brown beer, residual pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, modest fine carbonation. The malts are soft but rich, some cream, trace of tangy fruits and a whisper of wet wood, cognac aged. Nuts? Yeah maybe but a bit of nutty sweetness, nothing strident which is no bad thing for me. Modest spice on the finish. Pretty tasty and approachable.

Bottle @ home [thanks Wouter Groen] shared with Dutchdrebus. Dark brown color with a red glare, medium sized beige to light brown colored head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma and flavor are malts, walnut / nutty in the aroma, some raisins, don't really get the walnut in the flavor and a quite sweet. Decent to medium body and average carbonation. Decent.

almost cleardark brown to mahogany colour, half inch dense beige-ish head; aroma of dried plum and cherry, raisins soaked in liqueur, walnut cake, some cognac and licorice notes; taste has the same notes with quite well balance of bitterness and sweetness, as well as spicy alcohol; I like it, though it is definitely not among the best quadrupels I’ve tasted so far
