33cl bottle. Poured almost black with little life. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich, roasty, oily, chocolate, vanilla, liqouirce palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Svart med fingerhøyt brunt skum. Lukter tydelig ristet kaff og noe nøtter. Middels fylde. Smaker lett bitter kaffe, havre og noe nøtter. (Beavertown Extravaganza 2018)

Black color, tan head, short retention. Aroma is roasty, coffee beans and licorice. Flavor with a light bitterness, presence of roasted malts. Roasty final, coffee mouthfeel. Dry mouthfeel.

8 3 7 3 15Draft at Kaapse 4th Anniversary Festival ‘18. Near black with a small beige head. Aroma of licorice, dark malts, toffee, marzipan, dark chocolate and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Kaapse Anniversary. Black with dark beige head. Sweet malts, marzipan, sweet nuts, soft roast and licorice, sweet blackberry jelly. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied.

Bottle 330ml. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Pressure Drop Cast Iron Billy ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, vanilla. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, licorice, chocolate, roasted - dark malt. Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours dark brown with a thin ring of beige head. Aromas of dark malt, faint chocolate, nuts. Taste is nutty, quite thin to be honest, expected a richer mouthfeel. Moore chocolate and nuts to finish.

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome. Black pour, ivory (dark) foam. Nose: boiled milk, milk chocolate and burnt wood. Mouth: mild roast, burnt malts, clean finish, body is round and burnt. Finish is frizzy and peppery.
