Bottle 330ml @ My parent's place
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, caramel and hint of coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, roasted, licorice and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

18/IV/19 - 33cl bottle from the Bottle Shop (Canterbury), shared @ home, BB: 19/XII/22, bottled: 19/XII/17 - (2019-571)
Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, bit roasted, some chocolate, bit of coffee, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: quite some alcohol, malty, grains, pretty roasted, dried fruits, lots of chocolate, slightly sourish, nice stuff happening here! Aftertaste: more malts, pretty bitter, alcohol, little sweet, hoppy, some dried fruit.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media, discretamente persistente. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Stucchevole.

33cl bottle. The beer poured near black, thin off white head. Nutty notes, chocolate mousse and coffee in aroma. Strong nuttyness, chocolate and coffee. Malty with roasty, woody, dry finish. Full bodied. Lovely.

Bottle shared with JMD and JFE at HNB 29.12.18. Ebony. Fine beige head. Excellent and complex aroma and taste of roasted malt, whisky, cigar box, rasins, brittle and pine. Taste and medium bitterness is lingering on.
