500ml bottle from some massive supermarket somewhere. First things first.. you get a huge noseful of berries with this one. Really jumps out the bottle. Next there’s a soapy hoppiness to this.. like those hard soap sweets only 2 people liked in the whole year at Primary school. Then there’s the slight bitterness that tickles the back of the palette. I quite liked that. In all, it tasted good but felt like they accidentally stumbled onto a nice taste and just kind of went with it.

Bottle from Asda High Wycombe. Pours an orangey gold with a moderate white head and a thin prickly fizz. A bit of ginger, some vague citrus, some biscuit. It’s ok, but rather half-hearted.

500ml bottle. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is spritzy lemon and mild cheesy funk. Taste has straw to start and a mild, lambic style sour finish. Infected, but good!

Aroma: Sharp lemon and grapefruit notes.
Appearance: Hazy pale golden body with lots of yeast flecks floating around. Thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing.
Taste: Very sharp lemon and orange flavour. Hints of apple and corn.
Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation.
Overall: I picked up this bottle in Asda on the basis of it being bottle conditioned - I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this. It’s light, sharp and fruity.

Weak looking clouded yellow ale, but it has an extremely pleasant hopped character negated somewhat by a very quick finish in the palate.
