Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol October 2016. Amber in colour with a moderately sized, off-white, head. Aroma of red fruits, oak, booze and leafy hops. Flavour was sweetish with caramel, more fruit, chewy malts and a moderately bitter and warming finish. Fine.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW - London. Pours clear copper with a lasting, creamy off-white head. Toasty bread in the nose, with suggestions of caramel and ripe berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with sturdy earthy bitterness, more bread, toffee, old leathery fruits, dates. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. A little sticky on the finish, with more ripe berries, brown bread, some fruitcake. Not bad.

Cask at The Wharf, Aalborg, Denmark
Red amber color with small creamy head, nice lace. The aroma is very mild, malt and sugar. Soft and round mouthfeel; it has caramel flavor and correct bitterness, with light nutty/herbaceous touch and unfortunately some metallic feeling too.
Waste of the good 5X.

Liberty Bounds Spoons. Clear amber beer. No real head. Smooth palate, no carbonation. A tad dry. Mild toffee caramel. Trace of estery pear. Some hop noticeable only by the bitterness it delivers in the semi dry finsh. Dull.
