Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours clear brown with a fint, tan cream head. Dark toast nose with hints of cocoa, dark berries. Light sweet flavor with faint toast, heavy charred malts and cigarette butts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly sweet finish with lots more burnt malts, leaves and cigarette butts. OK.

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2012, Olympia, London. A dark ruby brown coloured pour with a small off white head on top. Roasty, fruity aroma. Tastes fruity, blackberry, bitter, dry. Intresting but I found this A little hard going.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet Bf 2012. Ruby colour thin beige bubbly head. Strong blackberry aroma i mistook as bleach to start with. Good fruit. Some hedgerow. Andrewc said narrow in mouth but that i put down to the acidity of the fruit. Interesting. Very hedgerow. Interesting

Cask gravity @ The Rake, Borough SE!. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity roasted malty weak coffee aroma. Fry roasted malty fruity flavor with hints of chocoalte. Has a dry roasted malty finish.

Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, huge rocky head. Coffee aroma with some dark berries behind. Light bodied with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Lightly roasty malt, blackberries acts as a sidekick. Spicy bitterish finish.

Cask (gravity) @ The Rake, 14 Winchester Walk, London, Greater London, England SE1 9AG.Clear dark brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, berries - blackberry. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average to long duration, blackberries, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110801]

Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. A hazy dark brown beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts and roasted malt as well as lighter notes of wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Cask@Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. Deep ambery brown colour, quite close to black. Aroma is floral hops, some earth, black berries, mild fruityness as well as some slight coffeeish notes. Flavour is quite fruity, berryish and also has some liquorice and mild toasted notes.
