Cask at the Wharf. A clear, golden colored beer with a minimal sized off-white head. Citrus peel and some biscuity maltyness in the aroma. The flavor has some bitterness, as well as citrus peel, pale malts and hints of biscuits. Medium body, soft carbonation. A quenching and quaffable one, but rather boring even if it was just a half pint sample. 111008

Cask at the John Logie Baird (JDW), Hastings. Amber with a loose, sudsy looking, cream head; citrus aroma; crisp grapefruit citrus flavour; then a clean finish with long lasting, but gentle, hops. A good summer ale.

Gravity cask at the Alma. Clear, flat gold. Sweaty malts, faint grass and ripe fruits in the nose. Dankish flavor, faintly sweet, sweaty more. Light bodied with tangy burn and no carbonation. Some fruity notes to finish. Not great condition.
