Cask at the Crispin, Wokingham. A hazy amber pour with a tight cream head; aroma of sour cider apples; sour fruit taste with a soupy, grainy, body; and a tart finish. Poor, as this was getting towards the bottom of the barrel, but rapidly substituted by the publican, as he’s keen to ensure he serves good beer.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear gold with a creamy head. Has a dry pale ale fruitiness.
