BIAB sample from Grumbo, thanks Graham! Slightly hazy orange amber colour, afew bubbles on top and vinegary aroma. Taste is sour, drying, solventy, with hint of rum and woody barrel notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry vinegary finish. OK.

Draught at Ye Olde Cider Bar. Clear amber body, no head, minimal lacing. Ripe apples on the nose. Taste of ripe apples, lemon and sweet rum. Dry and sweet ending. Rather sweet. Okay in smaller amounts, I’m not a dedicated cider drinker. (Newton Abbot 28.04.2017).

On cask at the Albert Inn, Totnes, Devon. Appearance - golden amber with no head and no bubbles. Nose - stewed apples and light boozy note. Taste - deep apple and booze flavour almost like a liqueur. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - lovely big cider.

A hazy amber cider with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of vinegar and apples. The flavor is dominated by boring apples combined with a light note of vinegar, leading to a dry finish.

Polycask at Merton Beer Festival, sneaky glass before festival starts 15-07-01 Btw this is labelled at 8%. Pours quite dark gold, in fact edging towards amber, some haze but it looks good, if a little different. Plenty of zest, sparkle and life to this with bubbles leaping forth, nice slightly acidic appley comes off of nose. Zappy, and tangy in mouth, nice rustic feel, but very tasty, good oakiness, apples are crisp and this is dry at end. Very nice. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
