Challenger hops and Optic malt suffuse to create winter sunshine in a glass. With a lively and assertive hop character and a dominant malty sweetness throughout this premium beer results in a moreish malty aftertaste. Will certainly blow away the cobwebs!

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Gold amber clear colour. Lasting beige head. Touch of caramel on aroma but it works on a bitter like this. Love the dry malt and the finish is lovely. Some sting earthy hop and just great. Good premium bitter

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 30/11/10. Slightly hazy gold in colour with a billowy white head. Buttery, pineapple and sherbet aroma. Flavour was dominated by diacetyl, with sweet pineapple and apricot fruit, a yeasty edge and clashing, bitter finish. A poor brew.
