Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, roasted malt, nuts. Taste is quite sweet, loads of bourbon alcohol, faint coconut, not much else to report. Underwhelming.

Bottle from Etre. Pitch black, pretty viscous, with a brown head. Loads of vanilla, decadent chocolate, bourbon, oak and coconut. Very harmonizing and no boozy feeling at all. Sublime!

Sample courtesy of Sander, big thanks. black color, very small coffee colored head. smells bourbon, light coconut, toasty, bitter chocolate, bit glueish. lovely smell. full body, almost no carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, bourbon, earthy, nutty, marzipan, light coconut, toasty, peppery, some vanilla, bit boozy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of bourbon, earthy notes and some vanilla. very nice one, bourbon is rather present but not overpowering. very good one just a tad heavy on the vanilla.

Bottle with label of "ROLPAR.BBT2.90 14:55 1517", drunk 12/31/17.
Dark mahogany, undetermined clarity with no head.
Pecan, vanilla and chocolate-covered cherry. No real bourbon, though a touch of spice. Smells quite mild and well-aged with only minor roast yet still balanced on account of the lack of any fudge, heavy chocolate or other typically overdone characteristics.
In the mouth it's full of chocolate, bread, light mint??, pepper and gains a bit of syrup to the texture. Lingering caramel, spicy bourbon and rather apparent alcohol are quite confusing given the relatively mild, well-composed nose. Low, somewhat engaging carbonation and a malty soft-to-specialty malt hard texture with moderate attenuation but some syrupiness, as mentioned.

12oz bottle pours with a deep dark body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet sugary malts and reduced sugars, bourbon, a thin marshmallow note, spicy black licorice, vanilla bean and then boozy somewhat hot bourbon at the end of the draw. The taste delivers a quick hit of nectar sweet malts and residual sugars, chocolate, dark roasted malts and licorice. It then picks up boozy bourbon, candied vanilla and some more booze. There seems to be a vanilla bean candy like note and slight toffee sensation toward the finish that are working well here. Nice sipper.
