Gravity cask at the 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival, Motorpoint Arena. Golden body l, clear with ma spotty white head. Apple, bramble and barley sugar on the nose. The taste is initially sweet but pinned back by a more balanced fruity hop. Long and slightly astringent aftertaste. Full oily body. A decent IPA.

Cask at Tap East after velodrome session. Light hazed yellow golden coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma lemony, citra, hint of grassy, and background tropical fruit notes, mango. Little sharp and dank on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of soft ripe tropical citrus fruits, lemon, mango, apricot, but of nelson sauvin. Palate is beautiful cask condition, soft and effortless on the tongue. Damn Oakham can make some top notch hoppy cask ales. Malt profile is light and slightly biscuit, provides an excellent platform for the hops. Really food.
