Cask at the Beacon Hotel, Sedgley. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is mango hop. Taste has a little straw to start. Pineapple and mango hop finish. A little sticky.

Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, lime. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101202]

Pigs Ear. Clear gold beer, residual white head. Light dry palate. Sweetish and slighlty minerally hops. Seamless blend of orange, lemon and lime citrus. Lovely!

Cask handpull at The Barton Arms, Aston. Bit of earthy hop on the aroma. Lots of tangerine fruit. You can taste the alcohol which is not a good sign. Although others enjoyed this. It is not my favourite Oakham beer. And the other beers on the JHB, Bishops Farewell and the Citra were all so stunning, it rather put this in the shade.

Cask@Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, wood, nectar, some mild notes of floral hops as well. Flavour is fruits, nectar wood and some spices. Pleasant.

Cask, gravity at Merton Summer Beer Festival 16-07-10 Pours golden some haze with a white head. Aroma is really citrussy, loads of grapefruit flying off and with a nice maltiness there as well tying things together. The taste is grapefruity, nice bitter and pithiness, nicely malty, this is just so drinkable, I wasn’t sure of the hops used but dad seemed convinced that there was Nelson Sauvin in there and I reckon he could be right, lovely beer that us dangerously drinkable. I think that this may just have squeezed through as my beer of the festival. A8 A3 T9 P4 Ov17 4.1
