Bottle from Stori. Appearance - golden amber with gentle bubbles. No head. Nose - ripe apple, almost apple tart. Taste - more of the same. Fairly sweet but with good acid. Palate - medium bodied, tangy acid and sweetness through middle and finish. Overall - good.

Cask @ Admiral Benbow, Shrewsbury. Fairly sweet for a dry cider, with a whisky influence that doesn’t quite hit the spot for me. It’s ok, and drinkable but doesn’t have the dry characteristics I was hoping for.

At Gloucester beer festival, 23/3/2013. Yellow in colour with a slight haze. Light, medium apple fruit accompanied by some warming whisky notes. Enjoyable.

Cask@GWBCF2011. Hazy yellow colour, no head. Aroma is apples, some mild alcohol, wooden and vanillaish notes along with some slight leathery notes. Flavour is being rather similar with a quite sweet stinging touch to it. Very balanced in the flavour, even though the alcohol shows a bit.

Polycask at The Royal Oak, Wantage, Oxon, 26-01-10 Was told that this was going to be really dry, but I found it to be more med’ dry and very easy drinking. Nice crisp aples on nose, touch of woodiness, good thrusty tang to this, really pleasant stuff. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Bag in a box at 2nd Thanet Cider and Perry festival, Churchill Tavern, Ramsgate. Haze gold/orange. Some plastic/rubber, some good tannic apple juice, it’s ok, good character.
