Bottle from Beers of Europe. Aroma is slight sweet malted, bit of spices and fruits. Flavour is malty and fruity, hints of brown sugar and spices. Ok stuff.

Bottle shared with Mes&Sim, Leighton and Scopey at the CP&K. Cheers! Cloudy amber beer. Little white head. Sweet malt with a trace of dried fruits. Finishes soft and dry with a little coca cola. A bit of a messy beer. Not undrinkable but too much effort required.

Looks like root beer and a head like it too. Not much aroma, just clear and clean. Some things floating around even tho there is no gunk on the bottom of this 12 oz bottle. Can taste that orange in there if you are looking for it. leaves a slight weird bitter sensation on the roof of the mouth. I’m not sure if I like the attributes that the cinnamon brings to this brew. Does come across as sour at times but not quite the tartness that I have experience3d with the other imp brews. A little dissapointing for this. Goes down fairly easy but probably couldn’t session a sixer of these.

bottle - Okay, enough raters mention the sour and/or funky flavors in this one that I’m going to go ahead and rate it. I t hought they had a major infection problem with their bottling, but their website indicates that all beers are made in open fermentors. Pours murky copper-brown with minimal head. The aroma is spicy malt and sourness. I guess it’s supposed to taste sour too given the open fermentation, but for this beer it just comes off as infected in a bad way. The result is too thin and otherwise lacking in flavor as though what could have been some good flavors have been devoured by the beasties. There’s some malt and spice in there, but it’s not working for me at all.

Bottle. Pour is a dingy and dark amber/brown with a very large and dense frothy head. Aromas are thick with sweet caramel and toffee malts, spices and fruit. Flavor has a lot of brown sugar type malt with a fair amount of cinnamon and orange. Still, this seems like it may be a bit off... there is a little bit of a funk and tartness to it and I’m not sure it should be there. If the next bottle is different I’ll change this rating.

Cloudy amber. No head. The aroma is odd, interesting - some dusty yeast, mild spices (nutmeg). Tart body with some spices, cinnamon and toasty malt. But it’s sour - again, bottle conditioning is not to be taken lightly.
