Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear yellow with a tight, white cream head. Dry hay nose, light grass and crackery pale malts. Light sweet flavor with lots of crackers ad biscuits, dry hay. Straw, light grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Crisp, clean finish, plenty more dry, crackery malts, bitter hay, light dirt, some fresh grass, biscuits. Just a really, really well rounded golden ale. Actually picks up speed as you work your way through it.

Cask-conditioned at the Kent Beeriodical, the Seven Stars Bristol February 2012. Pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of lemon fruit, slightly creamy malts and grassy hops. Flavour had more citrus fruit, a hint if sulphur and moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Gold in colour with white head, good clarity. Hoppy & bitter but not overly bitter, a little softness and with a nice seam of lemonyness throughout. This beer surprised a lot of folk and was a real hit, great session beer, possibly just a little sweet for me, but very likeable. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Cask at CPK Pimlico on 2nd March 2011. Gold with thin white head. yeasty aroma with notes of Cheddar cheese. Main taste is grapefruit with a savoury note then earthiness/bitterness take over and a citric aftertaste ensues. Cheesy notes return in finish which then becomes grassy and herby. Delicious.
