Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts and American hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew.

Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart

The feel is a tad thin and verges on watery, as happens in some coffee stouts. Lots of coffee flavor, but there’s a strong tendency toward the fruitier end of coffee than the roastier, particularly in the taste, that doesn’t quite work for me. I like lightly roasted coffee but prefer a bit more chocolate flavor. Aroma is big and dominated by coffee. Interesting take on the coffee stout sub-style.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a very dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head. Sweet pleasant roast, some vanilla aroma too. Medium body, sweet pleasant roast, licorice notes, some overripe dark fruits. Subdued bitterness. Not really that coffeeish. Pleasant. 220611

Purchased at Breeze-Thru in Milwaukee, WI; consumed on a Monday night after a long, boring day at the office. Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate with a hint of coffee, kind of surprising, expected more of a coffee aroma. Appearance is pitch black with a thin off-white head. Taste is thick with huge chocolate and roasted malt notes, coffee is nicely balanced into the mix, very smooth, enjoyable. Very nice.

Sampled at the January Metro Detroit tasting. Thanks to whoever brought this. Poured a dark brown with a grayish brown head. Aroma was full of coffee throughout, but not much else. Flavor was one note with coffee throughout as well.
