Originally produced for Fairtrade Fortnight 2007 and to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act on 25th March, 1807. Now regular.

Traditionally floor-malted Maris Otter pale ale malt, crystal malt and Kentish hops combine with Fairtrade Demerara sugar to produce a deep golden ale. It is characterised by its mellow bitterness and long hoppy finish.

500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Amber colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, metallic hop. Taste is sweetish, malty, toffee, brown sugar, some biscuit & hay, with earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK.

Bottle. Clear deep golden color, fluffy white head. Very floral aroma. Taste is lightly bitter and fruity. Decent.

Bottle from alesbymail.co.uk. Clear orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 050913

500ml bottle [4.8% abv]. Clear amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious grainy and fruity aroma, hints of red berries. Taste is dry to bitter hoppy, metallic, chalky, hints of fruit parings, subtle fruity undertones with hints of red berries; lively carbonation.

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - Pours gold with a medium white persistent head. Pleasing mix of mild citrus, and grainy malt, caramel. Pretty decent.

Dobry Bitter, z lekkim metnym osadem, wielka i trzymajaca sie sporo czasu piana, spore nagazowanie jak na brytyjskie piwo. Chmielowe nuty sa wyrazne w zapachu, w smaku dominuje takze zywiczny posmak chmieli. Najlepsze ekologiczne surowce. Real Ale from Camra. Polecam te angielska klasyke.

Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. A golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, butter and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, malt, and flowers, leading to a dry buttery finish.
