We ventured into unfamiliar territory to create an IPA to fit our style. An intense floral nose, firm balanced flavor and long hoppy finish make Rocky Mountain IPA our very own.

Rosehip nose. Crystal clear copper, medium head. Watery mouthfeel no body. Bitter and oily. Floral flavor, rosehips and marigolds. Drinks less like beer and more like diluted hop oil.

Bottle. Orange peel and caramel malt aroma. Light amber with a minimal head. Caramel malt and dandelion green bitter flavor. Medium body. Seems harshly bitter.. could use more malt forward.

Bottle. Orange-caramel malt and grapefruit peel aroma. Amber color with small head. Mildly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/quinine flavor. Okay - nothing spectacular.

This IPA poured a deep amber colour with a nice, qiuckly dissolving, off white head. Light lacing. To the nose there are scents of lemon/grapefruit citrus hopps, slight grass scent with malt and a light celery salt scent. First sip was very nice and creamy with a healthy dose of hop flavour. Other flavours of grass, citrus and a faint hint of smoke? ?Finish is bitter with hop flavour lingering on the palate.

12oz bottle from ABC poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark amber with about 2 fingers of white head. Very nice hop aroma. Citrus and grapefruit. Taste is medium bitter. Good bit of pine in there. Medium bodied with a creamy yet slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, pretty good. I would buy this again.
