Bottle,60cl. A dense, off-white head of finger-thick size sits on top of a more or less clear dark amber body. Lightly roasted aroma with some chocolate and a touch of caramel and dried fruits. Medium to full body, pleasant carbonation. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and some dried fruits in the flavor. A touch of licorice towards the end. A pleasant beer, certainly much better than most of the beers from Aarhus. 111112

600 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 7%. Dark brown to mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of ripe red fruits, caramel and bakery. The flavour is fruity and medium sweet, with plenty of malts and caramel, decent hops in the finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Clear mahogany colour, no head. Cardboard aroma. Medium bodied with mushy, sticky caramel as it’s dominant feature. Sharp and edgy. Low bitterness. I’ve had better beers from first time users of homebrewing kits.
