Lyme Gold is an easy drinking crisp golden ale.

A subtle blend of Pale malt with Cascade and Bobek hops deliver a fresh, citrusy aroma and sweet initial taste, followed by a light bitter finish.

Lyme Gold takes its name from the delicate golden pyrite ammonites commonly found on the beaches of The Jurassic Coast.

500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours slightly unclear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of lemon, lime, citrus, cereal, grain & malt. Moderate body. Somewhat dry finish. Enjoyable

Rocky off white head on an unclear golden coloured body. Pine & resinous aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a limp back. Orange, spiced fruits, pine & peach tastes with a tangy finish. Standard.

On cask at The Ring of Bells, Taunton. Pours lightly hazed yellow golden with a white top. Aroma: bready malts, fruity, citrus. Taste: dry, light sweet & bitter, citrus pith, grapefruit, orange, honey, grassy hop. Light to medium body, average carb, watery mouthfeel, dry semi bitter finish.

Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Light semi sweet malts. Orange pith and floral orange. Light dry finish. Clean and drinkable.

Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some floral and bready notes along with some nectar. Flavour is the same with some honey and mild earthyness as well. Pleasantly fruity and floral aftertaste.

Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England.Clear medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus - lime, hop oil. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, citrus lime acidic. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20101202]
