Keg at Craft. Dark brown coloured with small beige/off white head. Aroma is bready, bit of peach nectar, yeast and herby. Quiet sharp aroma. Taste is fruity and vinous. Quite jammy towards the end. Very sweet finish. Definite sponge cake elements! Full bodied, and very nice.

Dark amber. Brown in the glass. 3 finger toasty head. Faded fast Nose is bretty and bready. Sort of a cherry sour yeast note. Mango and vanilla Taste is fantastic. A very complex beer. Mango, banana, vanilla, cherry, hint of Brett and very yeasty. Some grape skin tastes. Medium body. Loaded with carbonation.

poured from keg tap at the Cask, Pimlico, into a tulip (Feb ’12). Pours a hazy mid to dark brown hue with a half finger of beige/off-white head. The aroma is all about the yeast, bread, a little spice and background whiff of dried fruit. Taste wise, pretty much marries the aroma, add to this earth, duck pond (yes - I have tasted one - not by choice!!!) and a little pinch of chocolate bringing up the rear! The mouthfeel made this beer for me, not too much carbonation, medium to full in body with a great velvety/creamy sweet and sour aftertaste! A beer I would happily re-visit!

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. Pours dark ruby with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with yeast, apple and hibiscus. Fresh, funky and fruity with some sourness. Medium carbonation. Not a typical saison, but quite refreshing! Brilliant name for a saison, when I saw it at the blackboard at Mikkeller Bar I just knew I had to try it! (2012-04-06)

On tap at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 06.12.11 Pours dark brown with a light beige head, soft in mouth this gives a light buzziness across the tongue, probably something to do with the voltage :-) some maltiness, not as Saison like as I was hoping for though there is a dryness, touch floral, some overipe banana, pleasant enough. Cask Pub & Kitchen, post RBESG tasting. Opaque dark brown beer. Little off white head. Crisp palate. Lacto sweet malt. Coco Cola. A little bubblegum. Fruit. Mild dark malts. Finishes semi dry. A bit odd!
