Bottle @ Søgaards Bryghus. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice beige head. Mild coffee aroma with roasted malt. A good malt flavor, moderate hop and a relatively mild, roasted coffee flavor with balanced bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. The coffee flavor becomes more evident during the aftertaste. A nice and not to bombastic coffee stout. And the actual coffee flavor is nice, even if it’s not strong.

Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of coffee and caramel, with only a touch of that ashtray/cold coffee character. Dry malty flavour with coffee and caramel

Draught, KØ11. Papery aroma, hint of coffee. Black colour. Good mild coffee flavour, creamy and nice. Served a bit cold, so perhaps more flavourful. Not bitter at all.

Draught @ Olfestival 2011 Kobenhavn, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, butter. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, coffee, chocolate, butter, licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110527]

Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2011. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Chocolate, espresso and butter. Coffee roasted end. Smooth.

slightly hazy very dark brown, smooth light brown head. aroma is coffee, roated malts, dry and almost ashy. flavor is roasted malts, charchoal, sweetness, oatmeal, sweet note does it great. complex. thick palate. nice one.
